PREPARE BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

What time should I arrive? What time do we need to meet?
A: Pick up time at the central location in Toronto will be 7:30 am, and you will return at the same location for 6:00 pm.
Niagara on the lake is a 90-minute drive from the City of Toronto, and we will be starting our Wine Experience at 10:00 am and ending at 3:00 pm. If you are not taking the roundtrip transportation, you will need to be at the headquarters for 10:00 am.

Where is the central location that we are meeting at?
A: For security purposes we only share the central location address with the guests that have registered to join us. That said, the central location in Toronto is TTC and vehicle accessible.

What should I bring?
A: Be prepared for the weather that day. Rain or shine the experience will be taking place. The wineries are located near the lake, so the weather can be cooler in September than in the city. Please dress for the weather & bring comfortable walking shoes for the outdoors. We will be eating outdoors as part of our lunch dining.

GETTING THERE

Is transportation included in the price?
A: No. Roundtrip transportation from a centralized location in Toronto is NOT included in the price. Limited spaces are available.

Do they accommodate food restrictions?
A: Yes, they do. Please identify on the registration form any food allergies or restrictions you have.

Is this a co-ed group experience? What is the age limit?
A: This is a co-ed group experience. All of our group experiences are 21 years and older age requirements.

COVID-19

What measures do you have in place for my safety during COVID-19?
A: We check temperatures of all of our guests on all group experiences prior to starting the experience. We have a reduced group size to reduce exposure and increase safety.
Every person is required to wear their masks in the vehicle at all times and we have hand sanitizers that everyone must use prior to getting into our vehicles. All vehicles have been thoroughly cleaned by our supplier who has a Complete Clean Pledge which is in alignment with the US Travel Associations “Travel in the New Normal Guidance”. We have also used our own cleaning supplies to ensure the vehicle is cleaned prior to transporting any passengers.

What measures are in place for the local guide and host on the Wine Tasting Experience?
Our team members wear facemasks in public places and maintains proper distance. They are also required to check their health and if they display any symptoms, are required to not attend the session before they connect with any of our guests.

What measures does the Wineries have in place?
This is a private group experience, meaning only our members will be allowed in the tasting rooms during our scheduled time. When unable to, there is at least 6ft between us and the rest of their patrons. All employees at the wineries are required to check their health before their shift, and are required to stay home if their health changes.

PRICING, PAYMENTS & BOOKING

What is included in the price?

Which methods of payment are accepted for booking?
A: Payments are processed through Stripe. As such all major credit cards are accepted (i.e., Visa, Mastercard, AmericanExpress, Discover).

How will I know my reservation is confirmed?
A: Once you’ve filled out the online registration form and made your payment, you will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours. Once your payment has been made in full, you will receive a detailed information package before the experience.

What is the deadline for full payment?
A: All payments must be completed by September 15th, 2024. 

What if I miss the payment deadline?
A: If you do not make your payment deadline you will be subjected to a late payment fee of $25.00. Failure to pay by September 15th, 2024 will result in cancellation of your experience and no refunds.

CANCELLATION AND TRANSFERABILITY

What if I get sick and can’t make it. Do I get my money back?
A: All payments are non-refundable due to the contractual obligations with the supplier. You are more than welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else. Please let us know in advance by emailing support@ellusivejourneys.com. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to find someone else to transfer their ticket to someone else. All money exchanges must be done between the individuals transferring their ticket.

OTHER

How many people are joining this trip?
A: We anticipate hosting up to 11 people on this particular experience.

When does registration close?
A: Registration closes on September 15th, though it may close sooner or later depending on how quickly the experience sells out.
