PREPARE BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
What time should I arrive? What time do we need to meet?
A: If you choose the SUV transportation option, pick up time at the central location in Toronto will be 10:00 am on Friday, July 15th 2022, and you will return at the same location for 6:00 pm on Sunday. July 17th 2022. If you are taking the train, the train leaves Toronto at 5:00 pm at which we will pick you up at the train station and bring you to the accommodations. On Sunday, July 17th you will catch the 11:00 am train and return to Union Station.
Ottawa is a 4 hour drive from the City of Toronto, and we will be checking into our accommodations after 3:00 pm. If you are not taking any of the roundtrip transportation options, you will need to have arrived at any time on Friday. July 15th 2022.
Where is the central location that we are meeting at?
A: For security purposes we only share the central location address with the guests that have registered to join us. That said, the central location in Toronto is TTC and vehicle accessible.
What should I bring?
A: Be prepared for the weather that day. Rain or shine the experience will be taking place. We will be providing you with a list of items that you will need for this experience well in advance of the trip.
GETTING THERE
Is transportation included in the price?
A: Roundtrip transportation is included if you have purchased the additional add-on transportation if you are located in Ontario.
The vehicle will fit all 8 passengers comfortably. Otherwise, you are free to add on the Via Rail transportation or provide your own transportation and meet us at the accommodations in Ottawa. We have hired a shuttle service to take us to the Ottawa river from our accommodations and back. This is the only roundtrip transportation that is included in the price.
Do they accommodate food restrictions?
A: Yes, we do. Please identify on the registration form any food allergies or restrictions you have.
Is this a co-ed group experience? What is the age limit?
A: This is a co-ed group experience. All of our group experiences are 18 years and older age requirements.
COVID-19
What measures do you have in place for my safety during COVID-19?
A: We check temperatures of all of our guests on all group experiences prior to starting the experience. We have also reduced our group sizes to a total of 10 people to reduce exposure and increase safety. We will be sending a pre-screen questionnaire 3 days before the experience to all guests to ensure no one is feeling sick or has been in contact with anyone who has contracted COVID-19.
Every person is required to wear their masks in the vehicle at all times and we have hand sanitizers that everyone must use prior to getting into our vehicles. All vehicles have been thoroughly cleaned by our supplier who has a Complete Clean Pledge which is in alignment with the US Travel Associations “Travel in the New Normal Guidance”. We have also used our own cleaning supplies to ensure the vehicle is cleaned prior to transporting any passengers.
What measures are in place for the local guide and host on the White Water Rafting Experience?
Our team members wear facemasks in public places and maintains proper distance. They are also required to check their health and if they display any symptoms, are required to not attend the session before they connect with any of our guests.
What measures does the Rafting tour operator have in place?
During the experience at the River, you are to wear your mask in all public spaces, except when on your raft. When unable to, there is at least 6ft between us and the rest of their patrons. All employees at the facility are required to check their health before their shift, and are required to stay home if their health changes.
PRICING, PAYMENTS & BOOKING
What is included in the price?

Which methods of payment are accepted for booking?
A: Payments are processed through Stripe. As such all major credit cards are accepted (i.e., Visa, Mastercard, AmericanExpress, Discover). To pay via e-transfer, please contact us at ellusivenco@gmail.com
How will I know my reservation is confirmed?
A: Once you’ve filled out the online registration form and made your payment, you will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours. Once your payment has been made in full, you will receive a detailed information package including your COVID-19 pre-screening that must be filled out and completed 3 days before the experience.
What is the deadline for full payment?
A: All payments must be completed by June 15, 2022.
What is the payment plan?
A: You can pay in two installments. April 15th & June 15th 2022 when the balance is due in full. Please email ellusivenco@gmail.com to setup your payment arrangement.
What if I miss the payment deadline?
A: If you do not make your payment deadline you will be subjected to a late payment fee of $25.00. Failure to pay by June 15th, 2022 will result in cancellation of your experience and no refunds.
Do I have to use the payment plan or can I pay in full?
A: You can pay for the entire balance of your Rafting experience.
CANCELLATION AND TRANSFERABILITY
What if I get sick and can’t make it. Do I get my money back?
A: All deposits are non-refundable, and any monies paid thereafter the deposit are refundable up until June 30th 2022, at which it becomes non-refundable. You may transfer to another guest for a fee of $75 cad up until July 5th 2022.
What is the Policy for the name changes should I need to transfer my reservation?
A: Name changes are permitted for $75 cad per person. Name changes can only be made with people not currently booked for the experience. The person taking your place needs to register with a staff member at Ellusive & Co. and provide their credit card information. You must work out the money already paid between yourselves. The person taking your place pays the remaining balance to Ellusive & Co.
Name changes can be completed up July 5th 2022. No name changes will be made after the deadline.

How many people are joining this trip?
A: We anticipate hosting up to 10 people on this particular experience.
When does registration close?
A: Registration closes 2 weeks before the experience happens, though it may close sooner or later depending on how quickly the package sells out.
